New Design For iFFECT.NET

After being notified of a few issues with the last design, I decided to whip up something new today. However, I have an awful feeling that this is going to cause a lot more issues in some browsers than the last design. The theme I used as a base is called “Zenlike”, and the CSS is as ugly as it gets. Trying to make sense of it was a nightmare. Why can’t designers take a leaf out of Brian Gardner’s book?

Having said that, it looks nice (at least I think it does), so if there are any severe issues, I’d like you to let me know about them. If it is really messed up, I might get Brian to clean it up for me.

All feedback will be appreciated.

The new theme looks great! So far I have not had any trouble with navigation in Firefox.

Neena and Rob - Thanks for the feedback. If you notice anything odd or out of place, please let me know. I still have some code to clean up, but there are only so many hours in the day :)

    No problems for me, Armen.

I’m loving the Whalers Way photo. Did you take it? I keep getting these thoughts about moving over.

Myo - Thanks for checking it in all those browsers, I really appreciate it. Now all I need is someone to check it in Safari.

David - Yeah, Whalers Way is about 30km from where I live. I like photography, but I don’t get out as much as I’d like, but I’ll try to change that photo once a week or so. It’s not always easy to crop a photo that much, and still have a focal point.

Australia is a great place. I haven’t had a chance to travel all around as yet, but I shall. I’ll most likely be heading over to Tazmania for about 10 days next month with my work. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to have a look around it.

Very nice. I’m no CSS expert, but some authors do make it harder…..
