Lucid WordPress Theme

One of the challenges I have set myself for iffect.net, is to learn more about WordPress theme designing. I have a long way to go, and although my PhotoShop, and coding skills are increasing all the time, I still have much to learn.

However, using Brian Gardner’s DropShadow theme as the basis for design, I have come up with Lucid.

It’s a 2 column, widget ready, validated, modern theme. With the recent craze in stripes, I decided to use them, but in a fairly subtle manner, and although I used DropShadow as the base, there are dozens of little differences that make it unique.

There’s an issue with the Theme Viewer at the moment, so I’m not able to put it on there yet. However, you can download it from here.

Please try it out, and let me know if there are any problems with it. If I can’t get it on the Theme Viewer soon, I’ll set up a live demo.

This blog loves links - it loves them so much that the NoFollow attribute has been removed from all links that appear in comments. That means comments equal Google Juice!
